Here is a piece I started eons ago (yep - eons!). I believe she has been in the works for almost a year. Wow. I really like her too so why haven't I finished her? I blame it on my Creative Muse. She is finicky and very interesting company. Luckily I feel her tugging on me now to get Molly finished so let's see how it goes over the weekend. Maybe I will get her done.
A little background on Molly:
She stands at 14" tall which is a BIG piece for me.
She is made from a plastic POM bottle weighted with sand and has a lightbulb head (recycled stuff).
Molly's main body, 3 large bottle bumps and head were covered with Das Clay (smells like kindergarten paste).
Molly's Hair, shoes, dress and details were created with Apoxy Clay.
The three bumps she is standing on will become pumpkins and Molly will probably be holding a knife in her hand (poor pumpkins!) hence the "Macabre". It will be the death of the pumpkins as we know them! (Sinister laugh ensues...).
Be sure to click on the photos for a larger view - it's way more fun. :o)

If Sydd were an Octopus...
Today I had to be a Grandma and post this most hilarious picture of Sydd. Sydd's mom said when the Ocotopus came home she and Sydd's dad both said "OMGosh! That looks just like Sydd! So they took a couple of pictures as any good parents would do and you know what? It REALLY DOES look like Sydd! What a hoot. He's growing up so fast. :o) (OK - my break is over and it's back to the taxes!).
