Queen Nightshade

Queen Nightshade is the queen of the night and although she may rule over the hours from twilight to dawn hers is a world that is not consumed by the darkness but one that is lighted by the billions of stars, suns and planets that reside in the multitude of Universes. Tonight Queen Nightshade is very happy because she is doing one of her favorite divine activities. On this night Queen Nightshade is birthing new stars; stars that will travel through the reaches of space on a sacred journey to their new home.

Francine's Florida Summer

The sultry, stale air matched Francine’s sour mood perfectly. She could not understand why her parents moved her to such a wretched hot place. Everything here was just as miserable as Francine. Alas, even her hair turned against her displaying each strand like a feral mane about her head. Her perfectly coiffed bob was gone and in its place a most ridiculous hat. The air was so thick and wet she was quite certain her eyeliner was going to run any minute! Poor Francine, there wasn’t even an ocean breeze nearby. Orlando in summer just did not suit her at all.

Watermarks

It was suggested to me that I should put watermarks on my 2D work. I would like to hear from you what you think? Do they really safegaurd the work or are they just a bother OR is it another small way to market my name (I just had that small "Aha!" right now)?
Your thoughts please and thank you! ;o)

And now a small Sydd moment brought to you by: Grandma! I couldn't resist you guys! His face is a little messy from eating... His hair is Blue - yep. Good ol' fashioned Kool-aid was the styling gel of choice. He smelled so good!

Plethora of Business Cards

We had some recent promotions at work and that means obsolete business cards by the hundreds. I decided I couldn't bare to throw them away so I brought them home knowing I could find some kind of use for them. I did too! All this altered art and ACEO's and collage just lends itself to these. Looks like I will have plenty to work with for a while (years probably!). Here's a very simple painting of a Wooly Worm - my first test drive with the stock. :o)
