15 min. lunch drawing

Not sure if I can do this daily but that is the plan for now - to do a drawing every day at lunch time to help boost the mental creativity. Here is today's session which is very rough but that is ok since it is about being spontaneous and getting something onto paper. This picture comes from the memory of when I was a kid and the winds of March would blow and blow across the plains of NE. We would take our coats and parachute off the stairs or some high place and let the winds catch us as we fell to the ground or we would pull out the kites and send them soaring up into the clear blue sky. It was all part of the fun and magic of March when the Earth finally started to warm up!

Get lots of wind here in West Texas...exchange lots of real estate with New Mexico and Mexico. Your drawing reminds me of when we were kids and would chase dust devils. We'd wait for a big one then run to the centre of it, and some of us were lifted up into the air...great fun. I was the chubby girl who never got the opportunity to fly, but it was still loads of fun. Now teaching my grandsons (my daughter thinks I'm nuts).

ACKKKKKK the winds on the plains of Montana!!! They were the bain of my existence. Esp. when I was a teenager! Always blowing my hair out of control just when I thought my boyfriend was liking me .... I hated the winds...
But now as an adult I take them a little more in stride....
they do blow off the weather...
But I think I'll alway hate winds~
