No longer WIP. I can't believe it. LOL This Craballama Antelope thingy could have seriously walked out of a Dr. Seuss book.
Any one up to naming this new found species? :o) Let's just say whoever comes up with a "species" name I like will win this Wee Crabbie! I'll give you all until next Wednesday, July 22nd to help me name this piece.
Thanks for playing along!

Mr. Fiddlestix for the crab thingie :) and Norbert for the fab snail/camel guy :)
I think what you have here is a form of Snarbix. Could be wrong, but it sure looks like one.
I believe what you have there is a Long-necked Hermalope. A cute one too!
How about the "Big Cheex" crab for the top guy. Oh and he is sooo cute.
I think it looks like a Double Horned Snalamacorn or Just a Snalamacorn, or is a Double Horned Snalama... I for get which.
ok, I have to say 'snarbix' is a very fun name to say!! but I think her name is...are you ready? it's a groaner.... SHELLY! well, that's better than Horny, don't you think?
Oh You Guys! You are cracking me up! These names are so great I should do this again! Now I can't wait until next Wednesday.
Of Course I'd love to win either of those wonderful......
Well what could a name be????
The crab fellow would be named "A Pink Bugasourus"
Otherwise known as a PB. Related to the
"Bugasourus-rex" But much cuter...I think by looking at him he also has his mothers cheeks, and she was really a "Puffer- nit" But don't tell him ( by the way his name would be Herme.
The wonderful Camel/Shelled/Yellow "character" Would come from the species that live half in the water, hence the shell, and half on land hence the rest of his body. They are "Yellow Goombolus" closely related to the ""Orange Goomblous" Luckily this fellow has one of the longer necks of the species... so he doesn't have to wad in the water quite as deep. I'm not sure of his name as they are very shy creatures.... but when he whispered ...
I thought I heard... Clarence ... of all things!!!! MAybe he's embarrassed or maybe I heard it wrong... I'll never know until he comes live with me... where I can actually hear him...
WOW now that was a story.... Sorry!
Pattee
Wee crabbie is the cutest.
I would name the other lil guy Cadbury. Why? because I am desperate for an English bar of Cadbury chocolate right now! You can't get better than English Cadburys, and I don't think you can get better than this cute chap!
(ooh, I quite like Hedopi too - this is the word verification I am requested to type!)
Talk about a fertile imagination!!! WOW!!!
blessings,flora
Haha, I am dying reading all of these names! So great!
I don't know how well I can one-up these: How about Snufflegnu? Or a Crabalope? Or a Camelellopod? :D
It DOES looks as if it could have stepped from the pages of Seuss!!
*giggles* Long necked Hermalope ... that's a good one ... so is Double Horned Snalama ... hmm ... don't know if I could actually top them. since I like Wee Crabbie so much, I have to at least give it a go ...
Two Pronged Snorkl
can't wait to see what you decide. whatever it is, the new species is a gas!
I am just laughing and laughing! You guys are truly awesome at this. I am going to be hard pressed to pick a winner because they are ALL just so much fun.
Thank you ALL for playing!
the crab guy, I know him, he told me his name was Gus from the corner of 22nd street and Harlem. He lives under that old McDonald's cup, you know the one, with the small tear in the bottom.
the camel snail, well it is a canail, of course, gosh I thought they had all died off years ago.
these guys are way cool, whatever their names may be. :)
Tee hee, this is fun reading! looks like you're going to have to re-name wee crabbie too!! :O)
A Hermit Snornelope!?! The wee crabbie is sooo cute and so is your other fun little guy!! You have quite an imagination and so do your readers!!
Ooooh, I am madly in love!
You've managed to capture the elusive Bandy-Horned Lambamma Unkerbunk, showing off his beautiful breeding plumage no less! WHat a catch :)
I came to your blog to see your Elements Challenge results, but was distracted by this adorable creation. I love him! Your Elements challege doll is also very creative btw. :)
