Learning from others

I love how Mindy Lacefield creates her little people with all the bright and fun colors in their face. My girl may not be as bold but Mindy's art was definitely my inspiration. I think it is a good lesson in learning when you try on someone else's work. It gives you an opportunity to see and think like them if only for a moment. I also think it is important to give credit back to the artist for the inspiration and the new processes learned.

Thank you Mindy! :-)

I agree and I love your girls face. I get lots of inspiration from other artists and I try not to copy what they do so much as learn techniques for making.
