The face is not the same but here is just a quick update on where I stand. I need to attach the arms and then I should be able to paint by next weekend. During the week I am just too pooped to play! :o)Please note all my pieces of art come with a nice array of pet fur. I try to keep that stuff off but alas...

Wow! Thank you all for the lovely comments! I am very excited to finish this piece and get it mailed out to Debbi. I actually had enough energy to start one arm and add a few details to the puffer fish tonight. yay :o)

I came here first thing this morning with my cup of coffee...Wanted to see who left the nice comment on my blog...So glad I did. You have a wonderful collection of magical figures here...and I love you comment about pet hair...! I try keep my studio closed to my cats, they have have a talent for finding the piece I'm working on that will act like a magnet to their fur and plop there butts right in the middle. And your mantra, "I love crabgrass" is one I may take up.
